Tibet is a communitarian since birth and a technologist for good. He has founded and/or led the software teams for five startups, including residential solar startup One Block off the Grid, guiding the company through two acquisitions as VP of Engineering. Next, he co-founded Terran Collective to research how humans can cooperate more effectively with each other and the Earth. While building Terran, Tibet also worked closely with web3 governance platform DAOstack, and co-created the international Community Weavers Guild. He also stewards the Collaborative Technology Alliance.

Clare is a technologist and regenerative strategist dedicated to channeling resources to heal our communities and our planet. As a Core Steward of Terran Collective, she focuses on bioregional organizing and building technology for a regenerative future, with the goal of using Hylo to help humans create reciprocity with the land and the more-than-human world. Her wide-ranging skills come from years working in nonprofits and tech companies, including Regen Network, Center for Science in the Public Interest, and the International Rescue Committee.

Neha is committed to tapping into collective insight and foresight in order to restore and regenerate our relationship with the planet. She does this through strategy work and impactful partnerships. In other chapters, she focused on improving energy efficiency and intelligence in the built environment, grassroots environmental efforts, policy work, and women’s health wearables. Her inquiries include: What will allow beings to cooperate harmoniously across scales? How do we ensure all voices and stakeholders are represented in conversations about building the future?
Design LeadCore Steward, Terran Collective
Aaron is an interface and systems designer, artist, musician, builder, and entrepreneur. His work in technology building social apps, sales systems, satellite solar design tools, distributed governance tools, nationwide activism platforms and product designs has touched millions. He is dedicated to designing systems and tools for resilience and thriving in an uncertain future. He experiments with building closed-loop products with lighting business Alchemica.
Co-Founder, Director of Strategy
Julia is an experienced community organizer and digital movement builder with a passion for helping large groups turn online energy into real-world impact. Before Hylo, she was part of the founding team of LeadNow.ca and helped scale it to 500,000 members and thousands of communities. Julia brings years of experience leading online and offline mobilization and cross-sector collaboration, from GOTV work to conferences and multi-stakeholder coalitions and networks. She remains active as a contributor in several social venture and social change networks, especially in her former home, Vancouver, BC.
Stakeholder Advocate
Krisha has a background business development and operations, though her passions lie in holistic wellness, regenerative living, social justice, and earth-based traditions. She is a life-long student of Ayurveda and is in perpetual inquiry around how we can live in greater harmony with ourselves, our community, and planet.
Operations Manager
Rose Slam! Johnson is a connoisseur of play, depth, and trying new things. With a background in business, compassionate communication, and summer camp, Rose is often recognized for being wildly attentive to detail, dancing the line between lightness and depth, and bridging the gap of separation through juggling. Rose is joining the Terran/Hylo team with big plans to streamline operations, clarify finances, and bring fun and games to every meeting.
Full Stack Developer
Tom is a dancer, software developer, and rites of passage facilitator. An Australian/Kiwi exiled from the Southern hemisphere for not caring about rugby, cricket or beer, Tom followed his passion for ultimate frisbee and maps all the way to California. He runs two rites of passage youth groups, seeking to reestablish this practice in our cultures. While tending his garden, he ponders the greater questions of our relationship to land, food systems and how we might fulfil our roles as a custodial species of earth.
Full Stack Developer
Loren is a full-stack developer driven by a passion for empowering groups towards meaningful dialog and coordinated action. He sees software engineering as a thoughtful response to a careful listening to users and group dynamics. Having explored this relationship in working on multiple consumer applications related to group collaboration before joining the Hylo team, he brings engineering prowess informed by real world lessons. In alignment with this work, Loren personally enjoys philosophy, psychology, small-group facilitation, painting and dance.
Co-Founder
Edward is an entrepreneur with a background in engineering, product design, and sustainability. He has a passion for creating technology and infrastructure to enable a world that works for everyone. Prior to Hylo, he built his entrepreneurial experience co-founding Mission Motors, a high-performance electric motorcycle and electric powertrain company, and Impact Hub Oakland, a community center and coworking space in Oakland. Along the way, he has created curriculum and taught entrepreneurship at Presidio Graduate School and California College of the Arts’ Sustainable MBA Program.
